Get To Know Juan Beruman
Juan grew up in Longmont Colorado and has always loved horses. As a teenager, he worked as a hand at local barns to have the chance to be around horses. There he found a passion for reining, where he showed and trained a few horses as a youth.
He attended Five Star Horseshoeing School the summer after graduating high school in Minco, Oklahoma. He found a passion for shoeing horses and returned to the front range looking for an apprenticeship. He worked with several great farriers in the area but spent most of his apprenticeship with Jim Quick. During his apprenticeship, he became a Journeyman farrier through the American Farriers Association.
In 2021 he qualified for a spot on the American Farriers Team where he had the opportunity to travel to England to compete and learn with great farriers from all over the world.
His farriery practice services horses of all disciplines and breeds from the trail to the show arena. He loves collaborating with all equine professionals to provide the best hoof care possible.
In his spare time, you’ll find Juan attending farrier clinics and competitions or taking his horse on a weekend ride.
